What Makes a Business Valuable?
When thinking about what creates value in a company, we often consider financial value first. However, enhancing the total value of a business from a biblical worldview involves both financial and relational capital – the social and spiritual resources needed to positively impact people now and for eternity.
Financial value can be measured through the increase in a company’s financial capital. Social value is measured through the increase in a company’s influence on society, such as brand and employee morale. Spiritual value is measured through the increase in a company’s Kingdom impact, such as generosity and discipleship. We believe that a valuable business includes all three of these factors.
