

Skip Perkins is a senior family office advisor serving in the Family Office division and senior partner of Blue Trust.
Skip has over 20 years experience helping families intentionally design a multi-generational plan for transferring the social, spiritual, and financial capital necessary for the family to thrive. His biblical worldview and uncommon approach in the areas of financial, estate, trust, and investment planning emphasize a principle driven wealth transition that properly prepares and equips each generation.
Prior to joining the company, Skip worked for Synovus Family Asset Management as senior vice president and lead family office advisor. Before Synovus, he clerked for the Honorable Robert E. Varner, United States District Judge, and then practiced law in Montgomery, Alabama with Copeland, Franco, Screws, and Gill.
Skip graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a BS in finance and Cumberland School of Law with a JD. He is also a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and a Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®).
Active in the community, Skip is a board member of MercyMed Hospital in Columbus, a board member of Teen Advisors and is co-founder of Jeeah’s Hope: Adoption and Foster Care Ministry. Skip and his family attend their local church, where Skip also serves as a board member and former chair of their finance team.
Skip and his wife, Ashley, live in Columbus, Georgia with their seven children.
