

Mike Bleck is a senior estate planning advisor for the Department of Estate and Philanthropic Planning and partner of Blue Trust.
For over 25 years, Mike has practiced in estate, gift, trust, and charitable planning and estate administration. As a senior estate planning advisor, he provides expertise in wealth transfer planning, including intervivos and testamentary, estate and gift tax administration, and charitable giving strategies. Mike has practiced extensively in the retirement distribution arena, advising clients on various retirement distribution strategies, including early distributions, distributions of employer securities from a qualified plan, and the structure of beneficiary designations. He helps individuals define and achieve their estate, gift, and charitable planning goals through objective advice and guidance.
Mike previously served as a senior estate settlement officer with Blue Trust, where he focused on providing expertise in the administration of decedents’ estates and/or trusts. Because of this experience, he has a unique perspective that allows an understanding of the lifetime estate, gift, and charitable planning and its impact on the efficient transition to the estate settlement upon a client’s death and the ultimate disposition of assets to the estate beneficiaries.
Before joining Blue Trust in 1999, Mike practiced in a boutique trust and estate planning practice at a regional CPA firm in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater with a BBA in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Active in his community, Mike is a member of his local church in Roswell, GA, where he teaches and serves on various committees. He and his wife, Rhonda, live in Acworth, Georgia, and have four children and two grandchildren.
