

Meg Hoffmann is the senior manager of philanthropic trust for Blue Trust.
With over 20 years of experience in trust management, Meg uses her knowledge to administer trust and estate accounts that involve complex charitable strategies, ensuring compliance with governing instruments, bank policies, and federal/state laws, all while working closely with portfolio managers, operations, planning teams, and strategic partners. She collaborates with advisors and clients on sophisticated wealth planning strategies, including estate and income tax planning, business succession, philanthropic planning, asset protection, retirement funding, and cash flow analysis. Additionally, Meg oversees the proper implementation of complex tax strategies, reviews estate planning documents, and supervises the preparation of applicable tax returns.
Before joining Blue Trust, Meg was the senior vice president and senior trust relationship manager for Synovus Trust Company for ten years. In her role, she administered a book of fiduciary accounts and worked with private wealth advisors to develop new trust and investment management opportunities. Prior to that, she served as the vice president and trust officer for Reliance Trust Company for 13 years.
Meg graduated from East Carolina University with a BA in economics and holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation. Meg is a member of the North Georgia Estate Planning Council.
Active in her community, Meg volunteers with Meals by Grace where she helps prepare and distribute meals for underprivileged families in Forsyth County, Georgia. She previously taught religious education classes to elementary school students at St. Benedict Catholic Church where she has been a member since 1995.
Meg and her husband, Steve, live in Johns Creek, Georgia, and have three adult children.
