Mary Helen Klingen is a private wealth advisor for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust, serving clients out of the Houston, Texas office.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certificant, Mary Helen analyzes clients’ overall financial condition and develops customized recommendations designed to help them realize their financial and life goals. She evaluates a client’s estate, insurance, tax, investment, giving, retirement, trust, and cash flow considerations and brings them together to create a comprehensive plan tailored specifically to the client’s needs.

Mary Helen has specific experience working with women, helping them gain confidence in making wise financial decisions. She understands the feelings that women can experience as they navigate personal financial and investing decisions. In addition to working with women, she has years of expertise in helping couples navigate family finances through various life seasons.

Mary Helen started her career in the accounting field, working as an auditor for EY in Houston and then as an accountant for Texas Children’s Hospital.

Mary Helen graduated from Mississippi College with a BS in accounting. She earned her master’s in professional accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.

Active in her community, Mary Helen is a frequent speaker at financial planning seminars and is a member and teacher at her local church. She also has served in leadership as the director of the Houston chapter of Polished Network. Outside the office, you can find Mary Helen watching her favorite musical, playing tennis, or grabbing coffee with a friend.
