

Layne Hoekema is a senior private wealth advisor for the Private Wealth division and senior partner of Blue Trust and serves his clients out of the office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As an experienced wealth advisor to individuals, families, and businesses, Layne uses his objective perspective to help clients make wise financial decisions to experience clarity and confidence and leave a lasting legacy. His goal is to help those he serves focus on the things that matter most to them. Layne and his team integrate financial planning, investment management, and trust services into financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.
Throughout his more than 20 years of experience serving clients, Layne has found his passion is to see his clients use the platform they have been given, whatever that may be, to bring glory to their Maker.
Prior to joining the company, Layne worked for Pandolfi, Topolski, Weiss & Co. in auditing programs for municipalities and not-for-profit organizations and with Ogrizovich Financial Management as a financial planner.
Layne graduated with high honors from Trinity Christian College in 1996 where he earned his BS in accountancy with an emphasis in finance. He passed the CPA exam in 1996 and became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant in 2004. In addition, he completed the requirements for a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) in 2004. The PFS designation is a credential maintained by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), of which he is a member. He is also a Certified Wealth Strategist® (CWS®) and a member of Kingdom Advisors.
Active in the community, Layne is a member of his local church where he participates in an accountability and Bible study group. He has also served on the board of The Oaks Academy and numerous committees with Heritage Christian School and other nonprofits.
He and his wife, Sarah, live in Fishers, Indiana and have four children.
