Julie Walker is a senior financial planner for the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust and serves clients out of the office in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
Julie analyzes clients’ overall financial condition and develops customized recommendations designed to help them realize their financial and life goals. She evaluates a client’s estate, insurance, tax, investment, giving, retirement, trust, and cash flow considerations and brings them together to create a comprehensive plan tailored specifically to the client’s needs.
Before joining Blue Trust, Julie worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she led and managed recruiting initiatives at universities in the Mid-Atlantic region. While at PwC, she also spent two years in the assurance practice auditing the financial statements of investment companies headquartered in the Baltimore area.
Julie earned her degrees in accounting and finance from Grove City College where she graduated summa cum laude. She was also awarded Senior Woman of the Year in 2013.
Active in the community, Julie is a member of her local church, where she serves on the benevolence team and finance committee. She is also a Young Life college leader at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Julie resides in Catonsville, MD with her husband, Adam, and son. Together, they enjoy hiking, spending time with family (especially their eight nieces and nephews), and hosting backyard bonfires with friends. In her free time, Julie also enjoys playing the guitar, riding her Peloton, and cheering for the Ravens.
