George Kawasaki is a senior private wealth advisor for the Private Wealth division and senior partner of Blue Trust.
As an experienced wealth advisor to individuals, families, and businesses, George uses his objective perspective to help clients make wise financial decisions to experience clarity and confidence and leave a lasting legacy. His goal is to help those he serves focus on the things that matter most to them. George and his team integrate financial planning, investment management, and trust services into financial plans tailored to his clients’ needs.
George previously served as the managing director for the firm’s Chicago, Illinois office for 30 years, overseeing the day-to-day operations, growth, and expansion of the office. Before joining Blue Trust, he worked as a senior manager with Kraft Foods, where his strategic planning responsibilities included developing and managing joint ventures, licensing agreements, and acquisitions. He also served as a senior auditor with Deloitte auditing Fortune 100 companies, nonprofit organizations, and banks.
George earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management and his BS in accounting from the University of Illinois, graduating cum laude.
Active in his community, George is serves as an elder at this local church and corporate boards.
George and his wife, Jane, live in Northbrook, Illinois and have three children and three grandchildren.
