Colleen Jowers is a senior trust advisor serving in the Personal Trust division of Blue Trust.

Colleen has more than 17 years of financial services experience. As a senior trust advisor, Colleen uses her extensive knowledge of estate planning governing documents and account agreements to serve a complex book of personal trust accounts for clients and beneficiaries. She administers personal trust and estate accounts, ensuring legal compliance, reviewing estate planning documents, executing conservator/guardian duties as per court directives, managing risk, and overseeing tax return preparation.

Before joining the company, Colleen was the senior vice president and relationship manager for 12 years at Synovus Trust Company, N.A., where she managed trust administration. Prior to that, she was at Synovus Securities for five years as a sales assistant to several financial advisors. Colleen earned a BA in sociology from Auburn University, where she was a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta honors fraternity. She graduated with her master’s in consumer sciences and a concentration in family financial planning and counseling from the University of Alabama.

Active in the community, Colleen attends her local church and is a Chattahoochee Valley Estate Planning Council board member.

Colleen and her husband, Jason, live in Columbus, Georgia.
