Private Wealth

“Working with the team of experts at Blue Trust has been a ‘game changer’ for us to ensure we are managing our wealth wisely and being generous with the time, talents, and treasure we’ve been given – all from a biblical worldview.”

– President & CEO of a large privately owned company *

From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

Luke 12:48

With 40 years of experience, the staff of the Private Wealth division of Blue Trust recommends financial strategies based on biblical principles that are designed to help clients make wise financial decisions to experience clarity and confidence and leave a lasting legacy.

If you’re seeking wise advice in your decision making about the wealth you’ve built, our Private Wealth advisors can help you in many areas including managing cash flow, growing assets while decreasing debt, overseeing investment portfolios, working toward financial independence, developing tax-efficient estate and strategic giving plans, and providing a range of trust services to help see these plans through — all with the “big picture” in view.

Our Value as a Trusted Advisor

The following are a few examples of how we serve our clients and work with them to help them make the best decisions for their unique financial situation.

  • Objective Decision Making
Emotions play a big role in financial decisions. That’s why our clients look to us to help them assess their financial situation objectively, so they can be confident about their decision making.
  • Current Financial Advice
We understand that our clients don’t always have time to follow everything that’s happening in the financial world. We stay up to date so we can provide them with proactive advice concerning their finances.
  • Productive Communication
Some people struggle to have helpful, productive talks about money. We help clients communicate in a meaningful way about their finances by facilitating the right conversations.
  • Accountability
We help clients design plans for giving and guide them in following financial strategies based on biblical principles. Having a plan creates accountability, which means they’ll be more likely to achieve their stewardship and generosity goals.
  • Financial Reassurance
Over time, individuals’ financial situations can become very complex. We strive to help our clients have clarity and confidence about their finances. Our clients know that if something happens to them, their loved ones have someone to turn to who knows them and their financial situation well and understands their wishes.

Our Team Approach

The Value of Working With a Team

We serve each client with a team of people for comprehensive, integrated financial management that saves time, avoids missed opportunities, and creates clarity and confidence around finances.  We also help simplify our clients’ lives by coordinating services with their existing specialists through one trusted advisor. Generally our offices operate with a Financial Advisor, Financial Planner, and CSA. Knowing that no two situations are the same, we focus on listening to our clients and asking the right questions. This process allows us to deliver years of wisdom and experience tailored to the individual goals and desires of each client, so clients can be free to invest their lives in what matters most.

Each client team is led by a Private Wealth Advisor with significant experience in coordinating a client’s needs across all of our services and in leading members of a team to serve each client’s unique needs. Your advisor is your primary point of contact. With the depth and breadth of experienced talent at Blue Trust, we are able to integrate many of the services you may need while still giving you the high-touch, small-team approach – all inside the environment of a company deeply rooted in guiding principles.

Your advisor is supported by a Financial Planner and a Client Service Associate. The planner is dedicated to helping the advisor with defining your financial goals, problem solving, and creating comprehensive financial plans. The client service associate handles many of the administrative responsibilities including scheduling meetings and processing paperwork. In addition, your team relies on the expertise of our Investment Strategy and Estate Planning groups and, as needed, those in our Business Consulting Services team.
